Eat Taste NourishPrep time: 15 mins, Cook time: 15 mins, Serves: 4-5

Ingredients:

  • 4x100g tuna steaks
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil

Tapenade ingredients:

  • 1 large red capsicum, seeds remove and chopped
  • 1 cup Ligurian olives, pips remove
  • ½ cup of basil
  • 2 tbsp. of lemon juice
  • ¼ cup of olive oil

Method:

Pre-heat the BBQ or skillet. Mix together all the tuna ingredients and leave to sit of 10-15 minutes.

In a food processor place all the Tapenade ingredients and blend until smooth.

Place the tuna on the BBQ and cook for 3-5 minute each side, ideally it should be a little pink inside.

Serve the tuna with a generous spoonful of the Tapenade with a salad on the side.
